For removing ads from Yahoo! Messenger 10 follow the following steps:

(Yahoo! Messenger must be closed before attempting the following steps)

Step 1:
Download Ad Banner Remover Plus v1.0.4.0 from following link:
http://www.ziddu.com/download/6685579/YahooAdBannerRemoverPlusv1.0.4.0.zip.html

Step2:
Extract the archive and run AdBannerRemoverPlus.exe

Step 3:
Click on the checkboxes depending upon the changes you want to make to your Yahoo! Messenger and press "Apply Options"


Step 4:
After the patching process has been completed run Yahoo! Messenger and you'll see the changes made to your Yahoo! Messenger.
